About David A. Carcieri, MD Inc

Dr. David Carcieri is a native of North Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated in 1990 with honors from Brown University Medical School. He went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cornell University Medical Center and joined a group practice when he returned to Rhode Island in 1994. He began his solo practice in North Providence in 2005. He is on the medical staff at Women and Infants Hospital where he has served in a variety of leadership positions including President of the Medical Staff and Chairman of the Quality Committee. He has also served on the Board of Trustees of both Women and Infants Hospital and Care New England. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1996. He and his wife, Brenda, reside in Warwick with their three daughters.

Cheryl Donovan, CNM received her BSN degree from Salve Regina University. She went on to receive a Masters in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island as well as a degree in Nurse Midwifery. She has had a distinguished career as a Professor of Nursing in Maternal Child Health at the Community College of Rhode Island and has won numerous teaching awards. Her practice focuses on well-woman care, family planning, and prenatal care.
